![]() ![]() Users can view the “current sky conditions”, which is a chart drawn for the moment and the default location. The program uses the ACS Atlas, so setting up locations and birth charts is a straightforward process. Of course, users set the program to their location. Times for sunrise and sunset, planetary hour information, the current sign and degree for the Ascendant and Midheaven, as well as the positions of the planets are included on this “Statistics” screen. See the screenshot at right for an example. Users can view statistics for the moment. The author likens Timaeus to an “astrological weather forecast”, and that’s perhaps the best way to sum it up. If Saturn happens to be on the Midheaven when you hover your mouse over the glyph, the program lets you know.Ĭlicking on the system tray icon opens the program, where users are treated to a host of useful information. Hovering the mouse over the glyph pulls up some details about how many minutes into the period and how many minutes remain in the period (planetary hours are not exactly 60 minutes!), as well as the current position of the Ascendant and Midheaven. The glyph for the current planetary hour ruler is loaded into the system tray. The calculation of planetary hours are the program’s main feature. The interpretations are top-notch, and based on full birth data. Daily horoscopes reveal transiting aspects to natal planets. This shareware astrology program is a very handy system tray application that offers many useful (and fun!) features for students of astrology.
